How the time is derived

Like porisi, it is derived as a proportion of the daylight period.

Example — 10:55 at Ladnun on 10 September.

Times are derived from sunrise and sunset using the commonly cited Śvetāmbara reckoning. Confirm against your own panchang or teacher.
